We're a small company of friends and family, focused on making a product that creates results for local, and privately owned auto shops like yours.
Having some experience in the past building software for the automotive repair and part sourcing industry, I wanted to create something that was not aimed at the franchise repair organizations, or the branded automotive dealerships which already have a number of tools.
I wanted to create a tool that made it easy for small privately owned auto repair shops to look up the OEM parts I knew they were having to call dealerships to source. These are the parts that after market manufacturers dont make, like emblems, badges, interior lights, door panels, accent moldings, anything that you really need the original OEM part where you can't find it on Rock Auto or Napa... You can find it here.
When I started to talk to auto shops about the search tool, I became aware just how much of the privately owned, under 250 cars a month, auto repair market did not have any form of website, and were relying soley on their Google Business Listing to show up in local searches and map results.
I knew they were missing out on appearing in a huge percentage of Google searches, as Google promotes listings with connected sites, and there for all these smaller shops are missing out on tons of calls from new customers.
So I decided to pivot, and build the simplest website platform for the smaller, local, privately owned auto shops where they can generate a new site, and domain, in 60 seconds... and just include the OEM Part Search for free.
New Hampshire born, and always came back here despite seeing a lot of the world on many adventures in my 20s and 30s. Went to Keene State College to study Computer Science. Now I can visit Keene often as it's just a couple towns over.
I started a web development company back in 2006 and have built over 1000 websites, mostly for small business owners. More recently, I've been working for a top level ecommmerce consultancy agency, and I spend my time working on eCommerce web platforms for Fortune 500 companies, and many brands you've heard of. But I wanted to get back to providing value for small and local businesses, and build a company that could actually help its customers, as well as the lives of my family, and friends.
Our business affiliates are just our friends, some from way back before Keene State.
You'll know why when they come in and talk to ya.
Born and raised on a working farm in New Hampshire. Hard work came with the life style and was taught from a young age and something that stuck with me through my life.
The motto of taking the bull by the horns was not only a true statement used in life but also something I took with me when tackling life’s situations that might come my way.
I have been involved with building and supporting non-profits for years. Most recently working as a service coordinator for the developmentally disabled and traumatic brain injury diagnosed adult population through a non-profit Adult Services Area Agency out of Keene, NH.
Looking forward to meet you, and speak to you while we build this family business, which might allow me to build out a future dream of a non-profit activity center for disabled adults.
Sias, is long-time friend of PartFriend's founders, and was in their wedding.
Growing up on his family's farm in Ossipee, NH, which still operates and sells fresh produce, Sias has deep roots in the community. He continues to reside in Jaffrey with his new family of 3.
Currently he's a teacher at Hampshire Country School, a place of possibilities for high-ability, neurodiverse students enrolling in later elementary or middle school who have not found success in traditional educational environments.
Known for his friendly and approachable nature, Sias effortlessly makes new friends, a trait that makes him an ideal business development affiliate for PartFriend.
As our first business development affiliate, Sias is excited to help build this side company with us, and hopefully build a Travel to Europe fund for his 2 year old son.
